From the hotels · 10 min walk

Karaköy Pier sits on the waterfront where the Golden Horn meets the Bosphorus, right beside the Galata Bridge. City ferries leave from here for the Asian shore, including Kadıköy, and a crossing is one of the simplest ways to see Istanbul from the water.

The streets behind the pier are full of cafés, bakeries and small restaurants, and the Galata Bridge leads across to Eminönü and the historic peninsula.
